NSTIC was established in 1976 by the Council of Ministers resolution no. 76/48 depicting “NSTIC is a focal point for specialized libraries and information centers network in Kuwait, responsible for collecting, organizing, disseminating, and enhancing awareness about scientific and technical information resources, through providing information and exchanging scientific information at the national and regional levels.”
